Kate MacMurray is the daughter of Fred MacMurray and actress June Haver.
She was raised on the historic ranch on the Russian River that is known today as MacMurray Ranch. She is a screenwriter whose career, until recently, was in film production in Los Angeles
 
 


With the introduction of MacMurray Ranch wines, Kate moved back to the Russian River Valley to live in a cabin that her father built and work full-time on MacMurray Ranch Wines. She has worked in the fields and learned how the vineyards are planted and cared for. She has tasted the grapes and talked to the people who tend them. Kate speaks with an authentic voice about the place. For her, the wines honor her father and her family who loved the land and enjoyed its bounty for over 50 years.
